TERMS & CONDITIONS

Pricing on website good until November 2004.

Upon payment, the customer agrees to the following terms.

1.
Word & Kern will use letterpress equipment to print all items. Each print will be unique. Small inconsistencies in colour intensity, spacing, pressure, etc. should therefore be expected.

2.
The customer shall pay Word & Kern 50% of total project cost upfront
and 50% upon delivery of the invitations. If additional changes are required, a change order will be submitted for approval before work continues.

3.
The customer is responsible for approving a final proof and final layout including text, paper selections, style, and all other details with Word & Kern. No changes shall be accommodated once the final layouts are signed and printing has begun.

4.
Word & Kern will provide the customer with a final proof of the text to be printed. Any spelling errors or deviations from this text by fault of Word & Kern shall be corrected at no charge to the customer. Any spelling errors by fault of the customer shall not be the responsibility of Word & Kern.

5.
Should the wedding date or location change after signing this contract, Word & Kern shall not be held responsible for reprinting any work. Should the customer request a reprint of the entire run, a new contract would be completed and discussed at that time.

6.
Should the customer wish to terminate this agreement one of the following conditions shall apply:a) If the customer cancels after approving the final layouts and before printing has begun, a cancellation fee of $400 will apply. All other payments shall be refunded. b) If the payment has been received and printing has begun, no refund shall be given.

7.
Word & Kern will not accept any product returns.

8.
Word & Kern shall not be held responsible for ensuring that your invitations will meet any specific postal size or postal weight regulations.

9.
Word & Kern shall not be held responsible for any loss or damage should it occur through the shipping process. All damage and loss claims must be directed to the courier specified in your order.
