Style
Our style is defined through a combination of traditional layout, modern and traditional typefaces and carefully crafted flourishes. Currently Word & Kern offers six different package sets to choose from. Choose from either traditional or modern.

Printing
Letterpress printing creates a lasting impression. The quality of letterpress printing
adds to the elegance and sophistication of your invitations. An age-old method, letterpress differentiates itself from other printing methods by printing from
plates with raised characters. Type and imagery are pressed into the paper creating
a slight texture. Small irregularities are inherent in letterpress printing and are
part of the tradition, beauty, texture and uniqueness.

Typography
One of the keys to a quality invitation is quality typesetting through “kerning”.
Kerning is the process of adjusting the space between characters in typeset text
to improve their appearance. Sophisticated typesetting sets Word & Kern invitations apart from all other wedding invitations by our attention to this detail.

Color
The color palettes we have established ensure that your invitations will stand out.
Our creative team knows what is current, and understands how best to couple color with design. Select ink color from our recommended color palette. If you do not see a color that works with your overall needs, please send us a color swatch and we will do our best to provide an ink recommendation for a small additional fee.

Paper
Word & Kern uses only the highest quality paper. We carefully select paper
by measuring texture, weight, and color - adding further uniqueness to your invitations. By using our industry experience and keeping it simple we are able to achieve heightened quality at low cost.
